WHEN SHOULD I APPLY?

While applications for VF Venture Foundry's studio are always open for submission, spots to join the studio are limited. We currently have openings within the studio, and encourage you to apply earlier, rather than later!

WHAT ARE VF VENTURE FOUNDRY'S FOCUS AREAS?

We focus on startup ideas in active wellness, specifically in nature, body, mind and the spaces in between.

  • Nature: helping individuals and communities find physical, mental, social and communal wellness via connection to the outdoors and nature
  • Body: helping individuals and communities nourish, move and better understand their bodies
  • Mind: helping individuals and communities better understand and tend to their mental wellness

HOW DOES THIS PROGRAM WORK?

VF Venture Foundry takes a human-centric approach, getting to know both the entrepreneur and the business in a 3-stage process:

  1. Pitch to us: Apply to participate in one of our challenges. If we think your idea is a good fit, we will invite you to share more with us in a 2-week due diligence period
  2. Fellowship: Leverage market research and human-centered testing to validate your business model or idea, and test out multiple iterations
  3. Entrepreneurship Program: Refine and build your business with the help of VF Venture Foundry team’s proprietary experience, insight, guidance and resources. We join your team as a fractional co-founder and invest to help your business grow.

I HAVE ALREADY STARTED MY COMPANY, CAN I STILL APPLY?

Yes! We are looking to partner with a wide range of founders, from those who only have a concept, to those who have launched their business and are looking for guidance on how to grow and expand.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE PROGRAM?

By the end of the Entrepreneurship Program, founders will ideally have secured funding, and be poised for growth as a standalone profitable business, a business that would be acquired by VF, or a business that would become part of a VF brand

DOES VF VENTURE FOUNDRY INVEST?
