The 2025 Cohort

Learn More About Our Inaugural Cohort
Last year's program was a huge success! Following the 2025 Blueberry Boost Accelerator, all four cohort companies have continued to build on the momentum gained during the program, leveraging industry connections, mentorship, and early market validation to accelerate commercialization.

Click below to see each company's pitch from last year, including the commercials they produced as part of the program.
Pluff (Winner)
After taking home the $20,000 grand prize, Pluff has focused on scaling its high-protein, blueberry-powered whipped mousse dessert. With a product that delivers strong nutrition credentials—20g of protein and low sugar—Pluff entered the accelerator with retail ambitions and has since been actively working toward distribution and production scale. (USHBC)

Post-program, the company has continued refining its go-to-market strategy, using insights from the accelerator to advance retail conversations and position itself within the fast-growing functional dessert category.
Bonny (Runner-Up)
Bonny, awarded $10,000 as runner-up, has continued expanding its prebiotic fiber supplement line, which uses blueberries as a natural flavoring ingredient. (USHBC)

With funding directed toward inventory and growth, Bonny has been focused on scaling supply and meeting increasing demand, while deepening its positioning at the intersection of gut health and clean-label nutrition.
Farmer Bob’s “Beyond Berries”
Farmer Bob’s has continued to develop its upcycled frozen fruit product—blending blueberries with dates to reduce waste while delivering a nutrient-dense offering. (USHBC)

Building on sustainability-driven innovation highlighted during the program, the company is advancing partnerships and exploring retail and foodservice opportunities that align with growing consumer demand for upcycled and functional foods.
Sorbatto “Blue Cream”
Sorbatto has continued to innovate in the frozen dessert category with its dairy-free “Blue Cream,” made with a high percentage of blueberries. (USHBC)

Following strong exposure at the Blueberry Convention, the brand has focused on product development and market testing, tapping into consumer interest in plant-based indulgence with real-fruit ingredients.
Collectively, the cohort demonstrates how targeted industry collaboration can accelerate early-stage brands—from concept to commercialization—while unlocking new ways to position blueberries as a hero ingredient across food, beverage, and wellness.
